Senior Management Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - UP TO £55k - 12 MONTH FTC - CHIPPING NORTON - HYBRID

Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a brilliant company in Chipping Norton that are looking for a full-time Senior Management Accountant to join the team for a 12 month assignment offering hybrid working (3 days onsite, 2 days working from home):

Responsibilities:

• Creating and posting journals, accounting for accruals and prepayments.
• Processing of intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Preparation of entity balance sheet reconciliations.
• Production of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and other supporting schedules as part of the month end, half year and year end close process.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and track capital spend.
• Assist with leading the year end audit process.
• Cashflow forecast and Intercompany transfers to ensure sufficient funds across the group to meet supplier payment, loan and interest commitments.
• Identify and drive performance improvement opportunities and provide valuable insightful information to support decision making.
• Line management of one Management Accountant - reviewing their entities Management accounts, motivating and supporting their workload and progression.

Requirements:

• QBE or CIMA/ACCA qualified.
• Proven working experience of management accounting and a solid understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting.
