Job Location : Warwickshire, UK
This market leader within the training sector has recently undertaken a large rebrand and overhaul of its marketing strategy, and they’re now looking for a Senior Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager to really help them continue to develop and deliver all of their marketing activity. This will be a standalone Marketing role where you can really take responsibility and drive the conversation for the industry.
The role:
Operating nationally, our client specialises in providing external training solutions to some of the UK’s leading organisations. Not only are they really good at what they do, they’ve become well-respected and highly recommended, but there’s always room to grow further and with this Marketing Manager role in place they will be really set up to achieve their goals.
This will be an interesting and busy Marketing role. You’ll be involved in everything from social media campaigns to customer shots; sponsorship and events to advertising and editorial placement; marketing collateral to web development, and as a new role you’ll have the sole responsibility to develop and deliver all marketing activity.
You’ll draft all content and will also produce day to day creative in Canva, to support social and e-shot content (although there is a really established brand kit to refer to). You’ll also proactively engage in the wider industry conversation around skills and training, proposing relevant opportunities with the aim of building brand awareness. You’ll work with an external SEO provider to optimise key word inclusion and with web developers to optimise site performance. You’ll also work with external designers and printers as required.
What we’re looking for:
This role will suit an experienced marketer, it’s unlikely that you’ll have less than 4 years’ experience under your belt, and that will probably be from a B2B environment. You may be a Senior Executive looking to take the step up to Manager, but you’ll need to be a real generalist and confident to perform in a demanding and busy environment. Social media and email will be a large part of what you’re involved with so being used to high volumes of work within this area will be particularly useful, but you must still be able to convey experience with the broader marketing mix. This will be the first marketer employed by the organisation, having relied previously on freelance support, so whilst the branding and strategy have been put in place there is a lot of room to still grow the role.
A knowledge of Canva is going to be really important as well and obviously some experience with a CRM system and mailing platforms.
What’s on Offer?
The role will be hybrid and you should expect to be in the office at least 3 days per week, and the salary will likely be upwards of £35k, but certainly no more than £40k. Due to location, its really important that you’re able to drive and have access to a car as public transport isn’t great in the surrounding area! This is a genuinely exciting role and they’re keen to get someone on board as soon as possible so a start before Christmas is possible depending on your availability.
Salary : 35000 - 40000
