Senior Networking and Firewall Consultant - Circle Recruitment : Job Details

Role: Senior Networking and Security ConsultantSalary: £50,000 to £100,000 per annum plus excellent bonus and bens, depending on certs and experience Location: Hybrid West Sussex

We have a permanent position available for a Senior Networking Consultant to join a team based in West Sussex delivering innovative solutions to fascinating and complex networking-based problems. This is a full-time position, paying between £50000 and £100000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a Senior Networking Consultant with experience managing and delivering large-scale networking projects, with expert knowledge of switching and firewall technologies, routing and wireless solutions. You'll be responsible for guiding the team in an agile environment and driving the architecture of challenging network solutions in a very exciting setting.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager and passionate about delivering comprehensive, client-focused solutions that meet diverse and evolving needs, using technologies from Extreme Networks and Fortinet, although your hands-on experience with ANY other vendor's product suite will be favourably regarded!

Desirable experience / skills

• Strong hands-on experience with main vendor, routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies.
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols, advanced switching technologies and wireless solutions
• Knowledge or experience with EXTREME or Fortinet technologies, or associated certs.
• Comfortable in customer situations, coming up with creative ideas, solutions that work for the customer, and delivering them.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience leading medium to large-scale networking projects
• Expertise in designing and architecting scalable, reliable, and secure network infrastructures
• Ability to effectively engage and build relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
