This is a unique opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist passionate about working with individuals with learning disabilities and neurodiversity in a therapeutic, secure environment.________________________________________The RoleAs a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions to detained males within the Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders (LD/ASD) Service Line.Your role will include:* Providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions using standardised clinical tools such as the Model of Human Occupation.* Acting as a key contributor to risk assessment and management strategies within a secure setting.* Supervising and mentoring other occupational therapy team members, including therapy assistants, to ensure high standards of care.* Driving service development and innovation in line with best practices.* Acting as a role model to promote the value of occupational therapy in the therapeutic environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual committed to delivering exceptional care while contributing to a secure and therapeutic environment.________________________________________What We're Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you will need:* A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or neurodiversity.* Strong knowledge of occupational therapy within risk assessment and risk management frameworks.* Supervisory or leadership experience, with a collaborative and positive approach to team dynamics.* A commitment to professional development and delivering excellence in care.________________________________________What's on OfferWe value your expertise and hard work.
