Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough financial research and analysis using tools such as Selectapension and FE AnalyticsPrepare comprehensive financial reports using Genovo report writing softwareReview and verify information provided by admin staff for accuracy and completenessLiaise with the administration team to gather missing information and assist with business submissions when necessaryUtilise Intelliflo back office system for client management and record-keepingAnalyse and provide recommendations for various investment vehicles, including ISAs and general investment accountsChallenge advisers on file notes or recommendation proposals that appear unsuitableCommunicate with the compliance team regarding any concerns about advice suitability Required Skills and Experience:
Proven track record as a Paraplanner in the financial services industry, with a focus on pensions and retirement planningExtensive knowledge of UK pension regulations and productsProficiency in using Intelliflo, Selectapension, FE Analytics, and Genovo softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAttention to detail and ability to work independentlyUnderstanding of compliance requirements in financial services Desirable Qualifications:
Relevant financial planning qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) - how experience is preferred and will pay for examination material and initial exams. Working Arrangements: This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with some time required in our Sheffield office. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to work effectively both remotely and in-office.
