Senior Paraplanner
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to work alongside Senior Consultants to provide full Paraplanning support to our consultants Nationwide.
This role can be based from any of our regional offices including Croydon, London, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast, Reading, Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Role and Responsibilities
- Writing technical advice/suitability reports.
- Supporting the Advisers by conducting research on products and helping to find the right solutions for our clients.
- Financial planning calculations.
- Analysing client data to produce Cashflow forecasts.
- Assist with mini projects and tasks as part of the wider team function.
- To work within our back-office system - IO.
- Maintain and record a high level of industry knowledge as part of the firms ongoing professional development, which is up to date and relevant, including legislative and regulatory developments.
- Comply with all company and industry guidelines, rules and regulations.
- Assist in the development, support and maintenance of processes.
Key Skills & Experience
- A CII level 4 Diploma qualification
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within a Financial Planning Practice
- Ability to prioritise work and complete work within specified timeframes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive 'can do’ attitude
- High level of technical knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Office software, experience using IO would be desirable.
- Previous experience using FinCalc and Platforms
