Description
- Looking after monthly (in-house) payroll
- Administration around expenses, pensions, renewals of benefits
- Checking over payroll details input from HR
- Addressing payroll queries from employees and colleagues
- Assisting in the preparation of reports
- Processing and collating payroll related information
- Maintaining employee payroll record
- Working closely with the HR team for any payroll changes
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes
- Supporting the payroll manager with any additional tasks or project work
- Effectively covering certain duties on behalf of payroll manager in their absence

A successful Senior Payroll candidate should have:
- A strong understanding of payroll processes
- Great communication skills and be able to speak to people on all levels
- Be highly adaptable
- Initiative and work well towards deadlines
- Understand legislation and the new UK budget/commercial knowledge
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good with Excel

- Salary ranging £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
