This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leaders to shape and implement key People &OD initiatives that align with the organisation's strategic goals.
Role Overview:
Position: Senior People Business Partner
Type: Permanent
Salary: £60,000 + car allowance
Location: North East (Hybrid role with regular office travel required)
Hours: 37 hours per week with flexible working options
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver and execute the People Strategic Plan.
- Lead and develop a small team of People Business Partners to provide strategic support across the organisation.
- Drive key organisational projects and initiatives that contribute to the overall development of the People function.
- Ensure alignment of People & OD services with business objectives to foster high performance and employee engagement.
- Dealing with complex casework including that associated with growth and structure change.
About You:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Business Partner, with a strong background in partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic, data-driven people solutions.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and offer constructive challenge when necessary.
- Be the HR lead on complex, sensitive or particularly challenging employee relations cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on measuring the impact of HR interventions.
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects from inception to completion while delivering results.
- A pragmatic approach, with customer service and people at the heart of everything that you do.
The role is based in Newcastle but the successful candidate can be based across the North-east with the expectation they can commute to Newcastle once per week.
