About UsPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of Ireland's largest independently owned Town Planning consultancy practices, with a reputation for delivering strategic, commercially-focused planning advice across multiple sectors, including energy, infrastructure, residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, tourism, and leisure. Our team has successfully secured planning approvals for numerous high-profile projects, and we're expanding our presence in Dublin.

The RolesWe are currently seeking both a Senior Planning Consultant and a Planning Consultant to join our Dublin office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects with a highly respected team.

What We're Looking For

• Senior Planning Consultant: At least 5 years of post-graduate professional experience in Ireland, along with an IPI or RTPI accredited degree/postgraduate qualification in Town Planning.
• Planning Consultant: A Town Planning degree/postgraduate qualification, with 2-3 years of professional experience in Ireland (desired but not essential).

Skills & ExperienceThe ideal candidates will have:

• A strong Town Planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited)
• Exceptional planning and organisational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
• The ability to manage a varied workload and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• A driving license and access to a car (for site visits)
