Senior Planning Lawyer – South East England – Up to £60 per Hour – Hybrid Working

Job Title: Senior Planning Lawyer

Organisation: Local Authority Based in South East, England

Duration: 3 months with the option for an extension

Working Pattern: Full Time

Rate: Up to £60 per hour (umbrella) which is dependent upon experience

Working Arrangement: Full time, remote working (may require occasional committee meeting attendance)

Venn Group are supporting a South East based Local Authority in their search for a Senior Planning Lawyer

This position is offering an initial 3 months with the view to extend on a rolling basis.

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor with recent post qualification experience working within Local Government as a Lawyer.  

Job Description:

Advising and supervising Trainee Solicitors

Advising the planning department and planning committee

Dealing with various s.106 agreements

Handling complex queries

The positions come with a competitive hourly rate which is dependant upon relevant experience. Prior experience within Local Government isessential to this role but applicants who may not fit the entire criteria are encouraged to apply
