Senior Practice Accountant - Upminster - Edward Mann Group : Job Details

Job Title - Senior AccountantSalary - £38-42kLocation- UpminsterWork arrangements - 5 days per week in office

Edward Mann are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant at a rapidly expanding Accountancy Practice based in Upminster.

Our client is looking for a candidate with previous experience working within Practice and can consider either Qualified, Part-Qualified or QBE candidates for this position, with study support available for those still studying.

There is the possibility for some Team Management and their client base are across a variety of sectors, with turnovers up to c.£20m.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping review and preparation to Trial Balance
• Statutory Reporting
• Corporation Tax Returns
• Dealing directly with clients and directors
• Prepare management reporting packs
• Ensure clients receive information on time
• Support with workflow planning
• General bookkeeping using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
• Support clients with finance system implementations
• CIS Returns
• VAT Returns
• Self-Assessment Returns

Desirables

• Previous experience working within an Accountancy Practice
• Qualified, QBE or Part-Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT or equivalent)
