Your new companyThis boutique consultancy firm has over 10 years of dedicated service to large scale construction/infrastructure projects up and down the UK. This tight--knit team are responsible for delivering substantial savings and additional benefits to their clients through delivery of best in class commercial/procurement management. Your new roleAs a Senior Procurement Consultant, you will be supporting the wider commercial delivery function in a wide variety of activities. This could include spend/supplier performance analysis one day and preparation of commercial documents (RFx, IFB, SP etc). This business currently exclusively supports public sector clients, helping with the delivery of multi-billion pound infrastructure projects that affect the whole of the UK. You will be supporting a variety of different clients who need additional help to deliver some of the largest infrastructure projects in modern times.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with an innate ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. For this role, prior public sector experience is a requirement, particularly, experience delivering high value construction/infrastructure projects. You should be a quick learner with an attention to detail that is able to effectively manage your time with minimal supervision. What you'll get in returnSalary will be up to £80,000 depending on experience, with a discretionary 10% bonus. You will be required to go into the office 2 days a week in central London. 25 days a/l, enhanced pension and private medical cover will also be available.
