Description

• Manage and maintain the purchase ledger.
• Process invoices and credit notes accurately.
• Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations.
• Support the Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk.
• Manage payment runs and deal with supplier queries.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Support internal audit processes.
• Collaborate with other finance team members.
• Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Profile

A successful Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• A qualification in accounting or related field is desirable.
• Experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and purchase ledger processes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well within a team.

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of between £11.54 and £14.10, depending on experience.
• A salary of £25k-27.5k
