Role:

Duties include;

  • Manage a subset of clients within an equity partner’s client portfolio.
  • Project manage client work and oversee all aspects of client engagement including billing and day to day queries from clients.
  • Review corporate, sole trader and rental accounts prepared by junior team members
  • Finalisation of accounts and corporate tax returns in both FRS 105 and FRS 102
  • Finalisation of sole trader accounts and income tax returns
  • Manage workflow and ensure accounts and tax returns are prepared and filed on time
  • File accounts with Companies House and HMRC
  • Drive continuous improvement of internal processes
  • Support partner with day to day ad hoc queries
  • Research and assistance with more technical areas
  • Direct and proactive involvement in team management and the training of junior team members
  • Participation in management meetings

Essential Skills and Experience

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (minimum 4+ yrs post qualification)
  • At least 4 years experience of working in a medium sized practice
  • Strong technical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • System skills: Microsoft Excel & Office
  • Good team player able to interact at all levels of organisation
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients
  • The ability to work under minimal supervision and under pressure is essential

Preferable but not essential

  • CCH Accounts Production, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax
  • XeroandQuickbooks
  • An interest in the Film & TV industry
  • Awareness of creative tax relief incentives
