Senior Quantity Surveyor - Gold Group Ltd : Job Details

Role: Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Aylesbury OR Reading, BerkshireSalary: £50,000 - £65,000Package: Car allowance, pension, healthcare, 25 days leave + bank holidays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor working within the water and waste water sector in the South East. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team and delivering a key framework across London and Berkshire on a Mains Renewals programme.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be required to build and lead a busy team of Quantity Surveyors ensuring the 5-year framework is delivered within budget and to the client expectations. You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring an efficient and effective procurement process
• Overseeing subcontractor management covering agreement of terms and conditions, risk management and agreemen of final accounts
• Mentoring and managing other Quantity Surveyors within the team
• Work closely with the operational teams
• Administration of the contract
• Managing change through the early warning and variation processes with both client and subcontractors
• Producing CVR's, applications for payment and cost forecasts

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportuntiy will need a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and an indepth knowledge of the utilities, civil engineering or infrastructure sectors. You'll also need excellent communication skills and happy to travel between sites across Berkshire and West London.
