Senior Quantity Surveyor Needed for Exciting Life Science Project in Oxford!

We are excited to announce that our construction client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be working on an exciting project based in Oxford, within the life science sector.

Qualifications & Experience:

- NEC3/JCT experienceOur ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and practical application of both NEC3 and JCT contracts. They must possess excellent communication skills when dealing with clients, contractors or sub-contractors while ensuring compliance during contractual negotiations.Skills Required:

- Life Science/ Mission Critical Projects expertise preferredThe right person for this job must demonstrate previous success stories handling mission-critical or life science projects from inception through delivery stages by coordinating all aspects necessary including budgetary planning and cost management strategies.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:* Preparing tender documents such as bills of quantities and pricing schedules;* Performing risk analysis evaluations;* Conducting feasibility studies before starting any new work/project; * Liaising closely with other professionals like architects, engineers etc.;.* Providing advice regarding procurement strategy ;* Maintaining accurate records throughout each stage of the process;
