An award-winning, multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy in Chelmsford is looking for a skilled and client-focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The Senior Quantity Surveyor RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll join a highly experienced and supportive team of 10 professionals, working on an exciting range of projects across multiple sectors. From bespoke residential properties and estate regeneration schemes to commercial offices, industrial developments, infrastructure, education, and leisure, you'll manage a variety of commissions valued between £50,000 and £100m+.

This role will see you heavily involved from the inception of projects, contributing to viability studies, options appraisals, land acquisitions, planning, procurement, and construction. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering both new build and refurbishment schemes, often as part of larger, phased developments.

Reporting to the Associate Director, you'll lead on project delivery, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with other Senior Quantity Surveyors, Managers, and Directors to maintain the consultancy's reputation for delivering outstanding client service. This is a role with clear progression opportunities to Associate level and beyond for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take full ownership of their career.

About You - Senior Quantity SurveyorThe ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

• A RICS-accredited degree qualification.
• Extensive Quantity Surveying experience within a UK consultancy.
• Strong pre- and post-contract expertise, with the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Exceptional client-facing skills and the ability to lead project delivery.
• MRICS accreditation (highly desirable).
