Senior Quantity Surveyor Civil Engineering Main Contractor Bristol A superb opportunity to join an expanding Civil Engineering firm in the South West! Want to be part of the success story?A senior level Quantity Surveying role has arisen to join a leading Civil Engineering contractor as they look to further expand their operations across the South West having experienced a successful couple of years in the region and winning a number of new projects which are already on site and more with imminent starts in Bristol, Somerset and Devon.As an organisation, they currently operate across a range of sectors delivering Infrastructure, Highways, Industrial, Bridges, Flood Defence and Car Park schemes throughout the UK.As part of the growing South West business unit, you will take full commercial responsibility for your own schemes, the first of which is a £7m infrastructure project on an exciting development in Bristol. Working closely with the site team and reporting into a visiting Commercial Director, you will be involved in the scheme from early stages, liaising with the client, managing the procurement and overseeing the commercial function to successful completion and final account. Responsibilities:As a proactive and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, key duties will include:

• Procurement
• Valuations
• Variations
• Payments
• Budget Monitoring
• Cost Reporting

Applicants should hold a MIN HNC level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering and/or Construction, experienced in running your own projects and are familiar with JCT and NEC forms of contract. Experience in general civil engineering including roads and infrastructure is preferred. This company has an exciting future ahead as it embarks on their expansion plans.
