Senior Reporting Accountant

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified accountant with insurance experience to join this successful insurer as they continue their growth both in the UK and International insurance markets. This broad finance role will include

• Managing and review of both internal and external reporting in line with UK and US GAAP and Solvency II requirements
• Working across the business to ensure data is correct for Solvency II reporting and submission
• Preparation of returns for both PRA and FCA
• Preparation of 3 year projected balance sheets for Solvency II
• Preparation of draft financial statements for various group companies
• Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts working closely with the underwriting team in relation to variances and commentary
• Assist with both Corporation and VAT tax returns
• Preparation of internal reports for management both at a company and group level
• Train, mentor and develop more junior staff

As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable experience within the insurance market this is a wide ranging and high profile finance role.
