Aurora Insights is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Research Analyst to lead our research initiatives and drive insights for our clients initially across the sustainability, supply chain, transport, and mobility sectors. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end research process, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that support high-quality publications, conferences, and events. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, in-depth analytical skills, and research skills to ensure Aurora Insights remains a trusted source of industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of research projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
• Design and oversee qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, from data collection through to analysis, ensuring rigor and relevance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research outputs support our publications, conferences, and other products effectively.
• Present findings and insights to internal teams, clients, and at public events as necessary.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and shape future research focus.
• Ensure high standards of data integrity, ethical research practices, and adherence to industry standards.
• Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and clients, to enhance Aurora Insights’ reputation and influence.

Key Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a research analyst, ideally within these sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Proven experience leading research projects end-to-end, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant data analysis tools and software.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
