Senior Residential Support Worker
Contract: PermanentHours: 37 hours a weekSalary: £32,690 - £35,792 per annum dependent on experience (inc. sleep-ins)Location: Worthing
Our client is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join one of their children's homes based in Worthing. As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will:
- Undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in placement
- Give guidance and support to all Residential Workers
- Be responsible for the supervision of designated members of staff and to record this in the Supervision Sheet on the member of staff's file
- Raise any concerns with the Registered Manager as appropriate
- Plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day
- Ensure the Placement Plan for each child is followed and adhered to at all times
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce
- At least 2 years' experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people
