Job Overview:Our client, a small family run Barnsley, is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Administrator to join their small team. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering an opportunity to be part of an exciting business plan. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales administration, excellent communication skills, and experience using SAGE 200. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Input and maintain customer information and sales data in the SAGE 200 system.
- Generate and prepare sales reports, invoices, and other administrative documents as required.
- Liaise with customers and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Track and manage customer accounts, ensuring payments are processed and overdue accounts are followed up.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team and assist with scheduling and organizing meetings.
- Ensure that all sales-related documentation is properly filed and maintained.
- Assist with the coordination of stock levels and product availability.
- Support the broader administrative team with general office duties when necessary.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales administration role, ideally in a senior capacity.
- Proficient in using SAGE 200 (or any form of SAGE).
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and report generation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
