Job Title: Senior Site ManagerLocation: East London Project: Residential Packages: Groundworks & RC Frame - 9 month duration (could go permanent)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to join and lead a team on a 200+ unit residential scheme in East London. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the planning, programming & over site of the groundworks and RC frame packages. Ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the on-site execution of groundworks and RC frame packages, ensuring all activities align with project specifications and schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site staff, subcontractors orders, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular site inspections.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, ensuring work meets technical requirements and high-quality standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability and resource efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and address on-site challenges, minimising disruptions and delays.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager in groundworks and RC frame packages for volume residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the sector.
  • Demonstrable experience managing teams and subcontractors
  • SMSTS & CSCS card.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software is advantageous.
