Senior Social Worker - Child Protection Team - Ackerman Pierce : Job Details

We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Child Protection Team within Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker includes:

• Working with children in need, children on child protection plans and with children who are subject to court proceedings.
• Initial Assessments and Core Assessments
• LAC Reviews
• Giving Evidence
• Managing a varied caseload
• Section 47's
• Complex Cases

To ideal candidate will have:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
