What you’ll do…
Design, develop, and deploy software solutions to solve complex business problems.
Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns. Optimise software algorithms for performance and scalability.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering and incorporate new techniques into projects.
Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate software solutions into products.
Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs, algorithms, and processes.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed software, making necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
What you’ll bring…
We are looking for a seasoned and adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn new skills and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess:
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.
Java with SpringBoot or similar frameworks
Kubernetes and container management
Docker
Distributed and scalable applications principles
Building RESTful services and Web UI
Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and test automation
Exposure to public cloud infrastructure, data streaming and Spanner DB
Experience coaching and mentoring teams to adopt the latest techniques.
Desirable Skills:
Up to date with the latest research and advancements in machine learning.
ReactJS or knowledge of JavaScript, Nodejs, TypeScript
Knowledge and experience of working in heavily regulated environments (e.g., finance).
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying machine learning models.
