Senior Software Engineer (RF and Embedded Systems
Type: Full-timePermanent role - 100% onsite Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in RF systems and embedded software to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Wireless Systems, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and Embedded Software development. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing software solutions that bridge the gap between hardware and software, directly impacting the performance and functionality of our products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software for embedded systems using C, C++, and Python, focusing on RF applications and digital signal processing.Design and implement DSP algorithms for various wireless standards, including 5G, LTE, and other communication protocols.Work on the Physical Layer (PL1) for wireless systems, ensuring efficient modulation, demodulation, and signal processing.Collaborate in the design and debugging of RFIC transmit and receive chains, including calibration and performance tuning.Create, validate, and optimize signal processing algorithms using tools like MATLAB and GNURadio.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality software standards.Troubleshoot and resolve firmware and hardware integration issues using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and emulators.
Your Profile
Hands-on experience in RF and embedded systems development, particularly in wireless and satellite communications.Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Assembly Language for embedded applications.
Strong knowledge of DSP techniques, including FIR/IIR filters, FFT, OFDM, and MIMO implementations.Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms and frameworks such as GNURadio and Pothosware.Familiarity with embedded software development using RTOS (embOS, NanoK), Embedded Linux, and bare-metal environments.Excellent understanding of RF system design, including link budgets, transceiver design, and frequency planning.Strong debugging skills down to the hardware level and experience with development tools like Eclipse, GIT, and Jenkins.
