Entegral’s product suite are a ‘one stop shop’ for Vehicle Accident Repair Centres. Our multi award winning Bodyshop Management software packages EMACS and Eclipse are designed to efficiently and effectively manage all processes within a vehicle accident repair centre. As an Engineer 4 you will work closely with our Global Product development teams, external customers and the EU Sales team to understand their challenges, provide technical expertise and architect and design technical integration solutions for Claims and Repair solutions throughout Europe.

A key component of the role will be working with our Product development teams, keeping focus on prioritising feature development to support new and existing customers in their adoption of the Entegral platforms. Solutions Engineering combines responsibilities of software, systems, integration and data engineering. 

You will be responsible for evaluating elements of technology’s effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research and investigation, and offer recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness.  

Travel will be required as part of the role throughout Europe and internationally.

Responsibilities

The areas of responsibility for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers, uncovering their marketing challenges, workflows and requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to help external partners understand the platform's capabilities and integrations to effectively position joint solutions to potential customers
• Detail high-level architectural diagrams describing the API Service connection points, callouts to external partner systems, and data exchange protocols.
• Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, support negotiations, and highlight the platform’s long-term benefits.
• Respond to technical product design; ensure seamless platform adoption for clients, while keeping the product engineering team focused on high-impact feature development
• Collaborate with internal teams (product and engineering) to customize solutions based on specific customer requirements communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Develop and deliver engaging product demos, showcasing how our product platform can streamline their processes, boost lead generation, and deliver measurable results
• Craft proposals and ROI analyses, effectively communicating the value proposition of Entegral’s platform
• Foster strong relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing technical support and uncovering opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
• Design, develop and maintain automated tests libraries by product to ensure the release of quality software
• Work with internal teams to analyse and resolve complex problems within the platform, leveraging Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Stay informed of the latest marketing automation trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices

 European and International travel will be required up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience with hosted cloud based solutions (Azure, GCP)
• Experience in cloud native computing (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working on applications that leverage Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Experience architecting and developing large complex applications
• Experience with various design and architectural patterns
• Experience in micro-service environments
• Experience in application design and development at an enterprise level.
• Excellent Communication skills and able to collaborate with diverse audiences.

 Preferred but not essential

• Experience developing and supporting software in a SaaS environment
• Experience with Cloud computing technologies and capabilities, especially GCP and Azure
• Experience with database systems, especially MySQL, Mongo, and Postgres
• Experience with test driven development and software testing frameworks
• Experience working with container based systems, especially Kubernetes
• Familiarity with configuration management systems such as Ansible and  Puppet
• Understanding of common security profiles and attack vectors for web-based software

Salary - Competitive

Location - Work From home (You must be based within the UK), Occasional travel to our European HQ in Egham and Entegral office based in Leeds, European and International travel will be required up to 20%.
