Senior Sous Chef - Compass Group UK : Job Details

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Senior Sous Chef t to join Restaurant Associates delivering world class hospitality for our partner.

This role requires the successful applicant to travel and work abroad for approximately half of the year beside a high performance team within Formula 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Implement innovative menus tailored to team members and VIP guests
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budgetary targets
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold the highest hygiene standards
• Adapt quickly to different kitchen environments and event demands

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Senior Sous Chef in a high-end or high-pressure environment
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for culinary creativity and excellence
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
