Senior Strategic Bids Manager - Savills : Job Details

Role Overview

We’re growing our team and we’re now looking for a tenacious Associate Director Bid Manager to play a key strategic role in our team of advisors. We need someone who leads in the delivery and implementation of new ideas and champions latest industry thinking in their bids. You will build client relationships, maintain focus on bidding for the right work and propel senior teams forward in their understanding of the buyer lifecycle and its critical role in securing and keeping good business.

Key Responsibilities

• Successful bid delivery across multiple sectors, divisions or geographies
• Leadership of written content and messaging through story telling on large scale bids
• Coaching, training and influencing senior stakeholders and other bid professionals
• Developing and implementing winning bid strategies
• Manage multiple projects at a time, prioritise and deliver timely outcomes

Key Skills

• An excellent communicator who is able to quickly build rapport with stakeholders at all levels within the business in order to coach, influence and facilitate wider strategic conversations. 
• A mentor to the bids and pitches team, providing advice and guidance to more junior members 
• Confident in managing challenging conversations and moulding positive outcomes through discussions 
• Highly organised, proactively driving strategic projects forward in a structured, timely way Solutions-focused; remaining calm under pressure in order to make effective leadership decisions 
• A driver of operational best practice, enhancing the offering our team provide to the wider business
