Vacancy: Senior Support Analyst - Claims

Employment: Full time permanent

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (DOE) plus bonus & benefits!

Location: London

We're recruiting for a Senior Support Analyst to join the Wholesale Claims IT team here in London! Our Claims IT Team are responsible for the operational support, and maintenance of Wholesale application services aligned to the team.

The opportunity:

This role sits within a brand new team within our Wholesale function to support the rollout of a new platform, Guidewire! This brings a unique opportunity to be one of the first in the team in a new role and have the ability to help shape how the team looks moving forward!

The role works closely with the Claims Operations Team and our developers to identify and understand issues, identifying the support process and documenting this.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will:

• Investigate, triage, and manage incidents and requests
• Proactively lead initiatives, including problem resolution, change and release activities
• Work on-call with peers on bridge calls to support the major incident and rollout process
• Coordinate 3rd party suppliers and IT partners, to resolve business issues and team activities
• Write scripts in one or more scripting languages to resolve issues and automate
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and developers

Our must haves:

• Qualification or equivalent experience in Computer Science or information Systems
• Previous Guidewire support experience (ClaimCenter preferred)
• Previous support for London Market Messaging
• Working knowledge of the ITIL service management lifecycle
• An understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle
• Experience working in a regulated industry, ideally SOX or Solvency II
• Experience of working in a business facing role using strong people skills and collaborative approach
• Strong planning and co-ordination skills proven in a complex and large-scale technical environment
