Role Responsibilities

• Leading on tax planning projects, taking ownership from start to finish
• Liaising directly with clients to manage advisory projects, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs
• Supporting the corporate finance team with tax analysis for corporate transactions
• Working closely with tax partners on a range of complex, mixed-tax issues
• Preparing advice letters and detailed reports on complex tax matters
• Managing HMRC enquiries, providing technical responses to ensure compliance
• Sharing your expertise with the wider team, offering support and training to junior colleagues
• Playing an active role in the growth and development of the tax department

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A relevant tax qualification such as CTA (or equivalent experience)
• A strong technical background in tax, ideally with experience across corporate tax, personal tax, IHT, and international tax matters
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts clearly to clients
• A proactive, client-focused attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality service
• Excellent IT skills, particularly with Word and Excel
