Our TeamWe're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled MS Dynamics Senior Tech Lead to join our dynamic OEE team within Enterprise Systems. We're a dedicated group with a singular focus: delivering cutting-edge technology to empower our colleagues to deliver top-notch customer service at lightning speed.
We are looking for a highly experienced MS Dynamics tech lead to help establish the Dynamics Engineering capability for OEE. You will support and develop the Engineers but will also provide thought leadership and expertise on our technology strategy. This will be a ‘player-coach' role so you will provide leadership and guidance whilst using your excellent hands-on technical skills. What you'll be doing• Responsible for building and leading a team of talented Engineers as well as working with business and technology colleagues to provide the best digital experiences• Providing great leadership across the team you will be setting and driving standards across our Dynamics Engineering function; coaching, developing and supporting Engineers to become best of class• Working with our Dynamics Centre of Excellence and CTO functions to support Dynamics adoption within OEE• Support the Engineering Lead and wider team to improve ways or working, quality and to achieve excellence• Supporting Business and Technology stakeholders to solve business problems. We will be looking to you to use your knowledge and experience to support and positively influence the right outcomes for our customers• Helping Virgin Money to unleash the full potential of the power platform, including citizen development opportunities• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement• Collaborate with teams across Operations to understand requirements/pain points and design solutions• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables• Ensuring best practices and standards are followed in MS Dynamics development
We need you to have• Experience in Power Apps Portals; Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, including relevant accreditations• A combination of HTML,CSS, C#, ASP.Net, Python, Java, json, Javascript• Experience of working in an Agile environment and will champion ongoing improvements to ways of working• Strong Engineering skills but also a background Solution/Architectural Design• You have managed teams before and can motivate and support other Engineers to be brilliant• You have worked in large organisations and have introduced/driven the adoption of the Dynamics• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft commercials when managing Dynamics solutions.• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
It's a bonus if you have but not essential• Experience in financial services environment and working in a regulated environment• Experience of Senior roles in other organisations• Experience of Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate etc
