Renault Manchester is looking for a Senior Technician to join our dealership’s workshop. You will be joining a thriving, well established team, with a great working culture. You will have the opportunity to work with one of the most exciting brands in the industry which is demonstrated by the amount of awards our new Renault 5 is winning.

Duties will include carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs of cars and vans across the Renault and Dacia ranges as well as vehicles from other makes and manufacturers. You will also have the opportunity to train as an Alpine Specialist. 

The selected candidate will benefit from having:

• Recent vehicle repair, service and maintenance experience with a main dealer or independent garage
• Accredited main dealer technician qualifications
• Qualified to IMI Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Hold a full UK Driver’s licence.

This role operates 40 hours per week, with a choice of shift that can be either 8am to 4:45pm, 8:15am to 5pm or 9:15am to 6pm; each with 30-minute lunch break and 15-minute tea break. 1-in-4 Saturday morning overtime on rota 8:30am to 12:30pm, paid at time-and-a-half.

In return we offer a basic salary of £37,246 per annum. This comprises £36,000 pa for weekday work + £1,246 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. We operate a weekly protected bonus scheme that is paid monthly on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.
