About the Role
As a Senior Telecommunications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our PSTN network, SIP trunks, IP PBX, SBC, and CUCM systems. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our third-party voice recording systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- NTR Compliance: Design, implement, and configure the Bank’s NTR compliance phone recording system, including recording servers and compliance storage.
- Telecommunications Systems: Manage and administer digital telecommunications systems, including SIP trunks, IP PBX, SBC, and CUCM. CUCM administration skills are a distinct advantage.
- VOIP Management: Oversee VOIP service providers, manage contracts, fees, and lines.
- Network Leadership: Lead on IP routing and firewall management, design and build telecommunications servers, and support all aspects of the telecommunications network.
- Project Management: Drive and implement voice telecommunication projects, including server builds and the implementation of switches and routers.
- Technical Expertise: Produce and own high-standard technical diagrams, diagnose problems, and lead resolution efforts.
- Strategic Planning: Formulate telecommunications strategies and present them to senior executives, gaining trust and agreement.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies and provide timely reporting to management.
