We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Town Planner to join a dynamic and growing consultancy specializing in town planning and development services. About the Role: As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning services to a diverse range of clients. You will be responsible for managing and advising on complex planning applications, strategic planning projects, and policy development, while also overseeing junior planners and fostering a collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects from inception to completion.
• Provide expert advice on planning policy, strategy, and legislation.
• Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and representations to local authorities.
• Support in the development of planning strategies for both public and private sector clients.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and successful outcomes.
• Oversee junior staff, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
• Monitor and stay up-to-date with current planning regulations, policies, and industry trends.
• Represent the company at meetings, public consultations, and hearings as required.

Skills & Experience:

• Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in town planning, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• In-depth knowledge of planning law, policies, and local government procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and develop a team.
