While this role can be primarily remote, occasional travel to Cardiff and/or Bristol is encouraged for key client meetings and team collaboration.As a Senior UI Designer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality designs and providing strategic recommendations to clients. You'll report directly to the Head of Experience and be part of a growing UI/UX department with opportunities to shape the future of our client's services. Projects will range from designing new websites to enhancing existing ones and creating comprehensive UI style guides. You'll collaborate closely with both client stakeholders and internal development teams to ensure that user-focused designs balance business priorities and user needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and presenting high-quality UI designs, concepts and prototypes to clients, with expertise in Figma and the latest production techniques.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver user-centric designs that align with business goals.
• Assessing client needs and recommending the best-fit solutions within project budgets.
• Writing clear user stories to support UI design components and effectively communicating design concepts to stakeholders and developers.
• Supporting UX research across a range of qualitative and quantitative methods (heuristic evaluations, user interviews, competitor analysis).
• Collaborating with sales, development and project management teams to prioritise tasks and ensure timely delivery of UI solutions.
• Conducting accessibility reviews and providing recommendations to ensure inclusive design.
• Mentoring and guiding other designers within the team, ensuring high-quality outputs and fostering professional growth.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in creating well-designed, intuitive UI solutions using Figma.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate UI solutions and decisions to clients.
• Critical thinking and a user-centric approach to design decisions.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and how to implement them in UI design.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify user needs and design effective solutions.
