SENIOR Property & Casualty Underwriter - New Business

Birmingham and Midlands based.

A new opportunity to join an expanding team for this Top 5 UK and A-rated insurer, with a significant presence in the Midlands market.

You will :-

• be a senior member of the branch underwriting team, representing the team on the local underwriting committee.
• be working on Property and Casualty New Business at Mid-Market level, and winning mono-line Property / Casualty or combined business.
• be working with Business Development colleagues to ensure you are collectively working the pipeline and active opportunities
• working with more junior colleagues to keep the positive energy and drive within the team

You must have :-

• A minimum of 5 years underwriting experience in Property and Casualty, or Commercial Combined underwriting.
• Have an understanding of the Midlands Commercial Broker market - East or West
• A commitment to work in the Birmingham office up to 3 days a week
• Positive energy and desire.
