Senior WordPress Developer (PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript) | West Midlands | Remote | £35,000 - £45,000 | Quarterly Team Building Days

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join a dynamic agency based in the West Midlands. This is a client-facing role, where you will work closely with a Project Manager and another WordPress Developer on a variety of exciting and impactful projects. With immediate projects to jump into, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing agency while delivering high-quality solutions to a diverse client base.

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of WordPress websites, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards. Your role will involve direct client interactions, providing technical expertise, and managing the development lifecycle from start to finish. You will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML, and JavaScript, while also having the ability to troubleshoot, optimise, and customize websites to meet client needs.

This is a remote position with occasional face-to-face client meetings and quarterly team-building days to ensure collaboration and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and delivering solutions that meet both client and business requirements. Your role will involve regular communication with clients to gather requirements, provide technical advice, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will also collaborate closely with the Project Manager and fellow developers to ensure that all work aligns with client expectations and project timelines.

• A minimum of 5 years' commercial experience in WordPress development, with a proven track record in an agency environment.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining responsive, high-performance WordPress websites.
• Demonstrated ability to interact directly with clients and manage client relationships effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize websites.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
