Service Charge Accountant - Castlefield Recruitment : Job Details

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Midlands based Housing Association in order to recruit a Service Charge Accountant on a FTC basis. This community focussed organisation have a number of improvement projects within service charges that you will lead.

Role:You will lead on all service charge improvements for the group.  

Duties will include;

• Managing a team to ensure completion of scheme accounts and budgets within the given timeframe
• Assisting with development, implementation and maintenance of effective systems and processes
• Regular reconciliation of bank, SAP system and Service Charge templates
• Managing and maintaining the accuracy of financial information to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance
• Support wider Service Charge team to ensure business objectives are met

Person:The successful candidate:

• Experience in a similar position
• Strong interpersonal/communication and leadership skills
• Advanced Excel skills (macros/VBA) desirable
