Service Charge Officer - Venn Group : Job Details

An exciting position has arisen for a Service Charge Officer to work for a Community based Charity in West London. The postholder will be assisting the finance team with a service charge backlog and will be reconciling statements in preparation for year-end audit.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting the Head of Finance with a backlog of service charge statements
• Reconciling service charge statements and updating information on Excel
• Maintain tenancy and charging details in the Property Management software
• Raise and dispatch rent demands to tenants and post entries to the ledgers
• Processing tenancy at wills, subsidised rent and deferred rent journals and reconciliation
• Reviewing voids and recharges
• Assist in month-end reporting
• Taking ownership of year-end MUS closure and service charge statements
• Dealing with service charge queries

Successful candidate profile:

• Experience processing service charges
• At least 3 years experience in a finance role
• Experience using a rent finance system
• Excellent Excel skills

Hourly Rate: £17-£20 per hour

Working pattern: Full time on site

Hours: 35 per week
