Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team at a family-run Fire & Security company. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £28,000, along with a pension and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 25 after 1 year served. The Service Coordinator will be an integral part of our fast-paced environment, responsible for liaising with engineers, booking appointments, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule service appointments for engineers
- Liaise with customers to book and confirm service appointments
- Manage and update service schedules and databases
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to optimize service delivery
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a coordination or administration role, preferably in a related industry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices
Day-to-day
- Communicate with engineers and customers to schedule appointments
- Update and maintain service schedules and records
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide support
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
