Service Manager - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyThis company focusses on delivering comprehensive facilities management and housing maintenance for the UK Ministry of Defence. They manage a variety of services, from maintaining military infrastructure to overseeing family accommodations and supporting scientific research facilities. Their operations are guided by principles of openness, care, agility, and collaboration, working closely with partners and service users to achieve their objectives.Responsibilities:

• Ensure maintenance and response works comply with statutory and MoD requirements, Health and Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Supervise Supply Chain teams, ensuring they have the necessary qualifications, equipment, and skills.
• Monitor service delivery for quality, value for money, and safety, ensuring performance indicators are met.
• Review and coordinate Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Record and manage tasks in the CAFM system, ensuring timely documentation.
• Review site risk registers, follow maintenance processes, and report equipment defects.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Service Publications, working with the Mobile Authorised Persons team.
• Manage Asbestos and Legionella responsibilities, including compliance with respective management plans.
• Oversee full project management for M&E/B&CE tasks, including financial and commercial aspects.
