A new position has been created within a technical services business to identify new clients and sectors and to secure new business opportunities. You will be required to work in the office/from home and also visit clients office locations which are primarily this is a London/South East based role. Full support will be provided by the Service Director along with any familiarisation of the Managed Services offering. The main responsibilities will be:
- Work autonomously to proactively identify and secure new business service contract opportunities
- Prospect via telephone, e-mail and site visits, also utilise company lists/opportunities
- Build a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Arrange face-to-face meetings to best understand customer needs and tailor support services
- Be responsible for the full sales cycle - lead generation to closing the sale
- Work with the team to generate and provide accurate support models, quotes, presentations and service agreement documents for all opportunities
- Keep detailed records of all sales activities and build/track a sales pipeline
The role requires a self starting and motivated individual who is dynamic and focused on finding new business with previous experience in B2B sales essential, ideally in a service environment. Experience in being autonomous in the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing the sale with strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
