Trainee Service TechnicianIMMEDIATE STARTBasingstokeTemp – PermPertemps are currently looking for a Trainee Service Technician to join their client based in the Houndmills area of Basingstoke. We are looking for someone who is looking to build a stable long-term career, has a passion for engineering and enjoys solving problems.Key Responsibilities:- Carry out service work on compressors- Testing equipment and correctly recording data- Writing service reports on equipment- Providing technical assistance and trouble-shooting issues with equipment- General housekeeping of area- 37.5 hours a week working Monday to Friday with overtime availableRequirements for the role:- Good electrical/mechanical knowledge (qualification is desirable but not essential)- Experience working with Refrigeration equipment is Desirable- Ability to function as part of a team- Diligent and conscientious attitude with the ability to prioritise a busy workload- Ability to work unsupervised- Responsible and mature attitude- Well organisedTo find out more about this Trainee Maintenance Technician role, please speak to Paul at Pertemps Basingstoke or alternatively apply online.
