Shift Supervisor - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be exclusively representing one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance building products to recruit a Shift Supervisor based in East Yorkshire.

This role is essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, with a focus on material handling and movement.

Hours: 4 on, 4 off days based (7am – 7pm) – with flexibility to cover nights where needed

Salary: c.£50,000 including shift allowance

Key Responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor include:

• Lead by example in promoting safety excellence and proactive safety behaviours
• Foster a customer-centric culture aligned with quality standards
• Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching and personalised development plans
• Oversee site operations, ensuring seamless collaboration with shipping, sales, and production teams
• Drive continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and eliminating waste

We are looking to speak to Shift Supervisors with the following skills & experience:

• Strong background in logistics and warehouse operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Experience moving material between warehouse and production lines
• Committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Strong team-building, coaching, and motivational skills
• Excellent communicator, adept at fostering internal relationships and driving transformation
