About The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Manufacturing Finance team to support our Produce site in Gadbrook. We are looking for a driven individual with the ability to Finance Business partner the Gadbrook site leadership team. The role will be based on site with the option of remote working where agreed.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities

  • Support centralised reporting function with the preparation of the site weekly and monthly accounts.
  • Implement Cost Control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation across the manufacturing processes
  • Financial analysis, including variance analysis to drive insight and improve operational performance.
  • Responsible for the costing of site products for Morrisons and external customers
  • Working with sourcing teams to drive margin growth
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels and ensure accuracy of the values.
  • Support production of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide key support to the site operations teams in terms of financial and commercial insights.
  • Play a vital role in the wider Produce Manufacturing Finance team to drive growth.

About You

Personal Requirements

  • Proven experience as an accountant within manufacturing is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Hold a relevant finance qualification CIMA/ACCA etc.
