Site Engineering Manager - FMCG Manufacturing

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 + Pension + Benefits Shift Pattern: Days 7am - 4:00pm

My client, a leading food manufacturer has recently undergone significant investment giving them increased presence in their well established marketplace. Established for well over 30 years, the company have a reputation for excellence from their purpose built facility. They are continuing to expand due to their ongoing reputation for quality products.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Understanding of PPM systems and managing a team of engineers

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment.

On a day to day basis you will be managing a team of engineers including, apprentices, site engineers, project engineers and a deputy engineering manager.

The company offer a huge amount of training, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
