Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Bridgwater (initially, with potential variation across the region)
Salary: £45,000 - £54,000 per annum plus car/car allowance
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on a variety of construction sites, starting with a project in Bridgwater. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong background in site management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain quality standards on-site.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure they align with approved designs and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, manage changes to the schedule, and address any issues by raising Technical Queries and Early Warnings.
- Participate in design meetings and client meetings, including progress and commercial reviews.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to update cost forecasts and manage Compensation Events.
- Ensure timely ordering of materials and assist Quantity Surveyors in managing sub-contractor packages.
- Maintain accurate and thorough site records and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar site management role.
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management is desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of organization and detail.
