Site Supervisor - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Site Supervisor required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience managing a production environment as well as strong management skills. The successful candidate will be expected to travel between 3 sites based in Daventry when required.

• Ensure on-time and on-quality delivery of parts.
• Maintain site security.
• Ensure all staff are uniformed, have works orders, and are trained and risk assessed to do the assigned task
• Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is maintained
• Responsible for first offs and last offs
• Responsible for stock checks
• Ensure that staff are in place to plan and work full efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement and increase efficiency
• Implement team personal development plans and progress all shopfloor staff members through training matrix
• Ensure all products are correctly identified and in the correct place on shopfloor.
• Ensuring that (KPI's) are monitored and targets achieved
• Liaise and coordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications

• Experience of MRP systems would be beneficial
• Full, Clean Driving License
• Experience managing a production environment
• Strong management skills.

• Salary: Circa £40,000 (dependent on skillset & experience)
• Working hours - Monday - Friday 8-4
