Pay Rate: £15.67 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 38.5 hours per week

Shift time: This is a variable shift pattern working on a 4 on 4 off system, predominantly nights

Job Overview

As a Skilled Production Warehouse Operative at our printing facility, your primary responsibility will be working across various areas post press. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by handling materials, operating and supporting various tasks across the business.

Adaptability and versatility are key as you may be required to work in different areas of the printers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure pre and post run checks are carried out and any faults or defects reported
  • Complete post-run checks and cleaning of machinery
  • Operate and maintain production machinery
  • Ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • To give appropriate assistance to the other team members
  • Adhere to relevant Health and Safety requirements
  • Keeping the immediate working area safe and clear of any impediments, such as trip hazards, spills, etc
  • Keep area and machines clean and tidy and dispose of waste in the correct manner

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility – Ability to move between areas to meet the needs of the business
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to take responsibility & ownership for the various tasks involved in the working area.
  • Ability to assist colleagues in other operations/ departments as required.
  • Computer literate with good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and have good organisational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
